We were having a slight problem in our guild with a player ages ago now. He'd done some crappy things a few months earlier (like borrowing gold and not paying it back) and his attitude generally stunk. He was previously a decent player so most of us just ignored him hoping he'd get the hint and move on.

Anyway, he asked for help in guild chat and we all said "no thanks" in our own way. He then went into a little rant about how nobody helped him anymore. I sent a PM to the guild leader making a point about i wished this guy would just take the hint and leave. Trouble is i didn't send it to the GL, i sent it to the guy in question by mistake. Felt really embarrased for about 20 secs then thought, stuff it, i've started so i'll finish. Felt quite warm and fuzzy after i'd had my little say, and 5 mins later the guy left the guild after having given back what he owed.

But for those 20 secs i was thinking "oh s**t!"

Back when Conjure was it's good old self, I had a build for RA made up perfectly to take advantage of Hundred Blades+Sun and Moon Slash to spike Monks and other softies down really fast, and it worked brilliantly. I got bored and decided to go with your classic Cripslash build... Well I got bored of that too, and came back to my old build, had all my gear, however I didn't notice that I had "equip immediately" checked so I lost my old sword and kept wondering why my damage was so freaking low. Strangely enough we went on to win 12 or so matches in RA and we all laughed about it when I told them. ^^

The worst thing I ever did is.... Hm. Wasting 30 minutes trying to get boss I want. Then I kill it, forgot to change my profession to boss'. Rezone again few times, go and kill, forgot about capture signet. Changed build to get to him easier, rezone few times, FORGOT ABOUT CAPTURE SIGNET. Thank God I took it next time...

doing part of slavers' I went as a p/r just to carry frozen soil for the group. Everything is fine until about half way in or so and I forget about the skill. I watch as we are just failing hard and everyone is typing in fs or fs?

not be quick on the uptake that day, I am sitting here going fs, fs, fs? Ohhh, frozen soil, that would be me. Everyone teased me, but we recovered.

I once accidentally pasted a porn link in my guild chat when I thought I copied something else. But we're all adults, weren't having a serious conversation, and it's not a secret that I go to porn sites, anyway. :P

Using [skill]Feast of Corruption[/skill] on a Ranger when I first thought R/N meant something along the lines of using a Vampiric Bow.

Hmm, I've never done anything I find really embarrassing. It's not that I do not do stupid things, more just that I rarely do *really* stupid things yet am constantly doing a string of mediocre stupid things (also true in RL). This means I tend to just move on after doing something moderately stupid as that is "situation normal, all ****** up".

For the most part I regularly forget to change professions or equip cap sigs when capping skills. I also tend to not be very attentive when changing skills from what is in my saved build - for instance today I wanted to take Ward Against Melee on my ele and it took me three tries - I noticed after I pressed "7" to cast the ward and noticed that it isn't working as I intended (to note, my ele only has three earth wards).

The closest I have to a real embarrassing moment was the first time I made it through Vizunah Square. It was was on my Necro (at the time a MM and was a week or so after factions release). At the time (well, and still though we now have decent workarounds for it) there was a bug with the hench that they moved off towards the foreign characters and left the local high and dry. I was a decent enough MM that I had my army set and could protect Togo until they made it too me and I could do so without them needing to rush ahead (I had no idea they could do that). The other team rushed and we cleared that are then they needed to go back and clear their small part - I had no idea that is what they were doing. I ran in circles trying to figure out where the gate had opened. They had about half their group drop making fun of me, though we ended up with masters - I knew how to play a MM with the hench once the enemy was engaged and I understood quite well how to protect Togo and let them protect Mehnlo, I just didn't know what they were doing at the time.

I regularly play whilst watching TV or having imbibed a bit of alcohol (I mostly play on weekends and being well over 21 that is quite legal and normal that we have consumed a quantity of spirits) so you can go from there. Even outside of those times I tend to be watching TV at the same time which means my focus isn't really on the game. But since I H/H no one cares and it is just me that sees my idiocy.

I dont actually make mistakes that are embarassing, but often times ill "wrong channel" something a little bit disturbing, and laugh about it with someone.

The only actual embarrassing thing I ever did was when I was playing my warrior, using a bow for pulling, and left it there for the entire mission, and was like wtf, im doing no damage.

How is that embarassing? You did a nice thing, accidentally but you won and it was nice. That just proves that all your shunning of lower ranked players is totally off. Freaking elite pvp'ers. sheesh

Switch my ele from a terra build (Raptors) to my fire build to do Frostmaws. Half way through Im thinking why am I doing so little damage.
I had forgotten to dump my points back into fire when I changed headgear and had only 3 in fire.
*doh*
